Data Protection
Certification
Proof of usability is usually provided for plastic components on the basis of a certificate of conformity by a certificate issued by a recognized certification body. If the manufacturer receives the Certificate of Conformity from the certification authority, he can display the conformity mark (Ü-sign) on his product. The Ü-sign indicates the usability according to abZ (“allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung” / general technical approval) or ZiE (“Zustimmung im Einzelfall” / individual technical approval).
